“Healthy Hurt!” Blog #241

Do I know how to turn my back on sadness?

Has somebody hurt me today and I don’t know what to do?

Can I find a place inside myself to let go of all this hurt?

Am I ready to take ownership of my Higher Self and put in to place Daily Tools I need for

not just surviving, but for thriving? Life is so filled with twists and turns and so many ways

the rug gets pulled out from under me, when I least expect it! WHAT DO I DO NOW? It is

critical I accept one important truth: Everything coming to me to push my buttons is for

MY LEARNING ONLY. SO, WHAT DO I DO NOW?

I Pause and Pray,

“GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CANNOT CHANGE. GIVE ME

COURAGE GOD TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN AND THANK YOU GOD FOR GRANTING

ME THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.”

Nicole Kidman, a famous movie star, has. been willing to face ridicule and disgust but

overrode all despair with her faith in God first. When her daughter challenged her about

not going to church, Nicole told her this was not an option. Tom Hanks, a powerful movie

star, yet both he and his wife and child faced illness that only their faith In God had pulled

them through. Then we have NFL Superstar Lamar Jackson, who goes out on the field in

front of millions of people to testify to his Lord Jesus Christ. Lamar states that Jesus is

woven into every part of his life and this is WHY he is so successful. “When you open up

the Bible, you are holding words of truth”. Therefore make God number #1. We also have

Denzel Washington, another famous celebrity, who has traveled the world and millions of

people have viewed him. He states “only my faith has helped decide my choices.” When

you fall down, get back up and put on the armor of God. So personally today, I think this

says it all, when I fall down hard, I get right back up and put on the Armor of God to protect

me in every way.

Is my current hurt showing me healthy ways to heal now?
